Both patio cover types can be customized to fit a variety of sizes and designs, but solid top patio covers offer more design options, which include adding rafter tails, fan beams, and downspouts.

Rafter Tails

Spice up the look of your patio cover by adding rafter tails to your kit! Our rafter tail add-ons come in one-foot lengths and then attach to the front of the cover. The tails on this cover are the scallop cut option.

Downspouts

Downspouts are the best option to direct the rain water in the exact direction and location that you want. Normally our patio cover kits regularly come with scuppers which directs the rain water outward from the top of the cover.

Fan beams allow the proper support for fan installation. They are required if you would like to add a fan to the roof of your cover after installation. We don't supply the fans or electrical components, only the support beams.
